Soul’s empty stomach
Cavernous chamber
Ravenous stranger
wishing only to be known
To be less alone
in this world of endless roaming
Bewildered it wanders
wilderness within
Sky above
Sand below
Nothing but the jinn and him
Slim, fading figure
crouched low
Paper in hand
Plots and plans
to fill barren land
with works of grand endeavour
For where he stands shall forever
be tethered to his unique perspective
which in itself is reflective
of the thoughts of others like him

Like you
