Aye, o’ you!

Ponder pounding sound
Despondency drowning dumfounded in dreams
of redeeming righteous path
How the fool after folly laughs
as forest creatures dash to his aid
Their kindness put paid
to belligerent ways made monument
Testament to moments spent in reverence
to jovial gentle giant
Who, all the while forced compliance
with the smile of scorched souls
Lit torch, old and bold soldier solidly stands
as bards of Comus come offer their hands
