Earth is mine
When I fill with torment
somewhere, a storm spins murderous
When calm cools my spine
calamity has befallen another

The stranger sits beneath treacherous dermis
as my bones sunbeams warm
When my eyes lose grasp on sorrow’s wells
drought hits heart whilst my enemy drinks deep

When my hand fills hatred’s glove
an unkissed neck someplace is wrung
Boughs creak
Earth is mine
